The nanoFlash is a portable HD/SD recorder/player designed to mount on a camcorder. It is also suited for use in a studio environment. The nanoFlash is designed to record higher quality images than the camera itself, using the camera's uncompressed 4:2:2 HD-SDI or HDMI output.
NanoFlash allows recording in native Quicktime or native MXF (software also included to convert formats). The nanoFlash records to low-cost, highly re-usable, CompactFlash cards from many manufacturers; Transcend, SanDisk, Lexar and others. The nanoFlash uses the high quality Sony XDCAM HD 422 CODEC and has selectable Bit-Rates from 18 to 280 Mbps. Enjoy tapeless workflow (affordable Compact Flash) with Universal NLE Support (QT, MXF and MPG). nanoFlash is super-small, lightweight, low-power and has loads of cool record / playback options.

Convergent Design nano3D builds upon the success of the nanoFlash, adding 3D recording and playback with pixel-synced (pixel-locked) playback. Instantaneous playback on set can be to a professional 3D monitor or, if desired, to a large-screen consumer 3D television.
This is possible since the nano3D incorporates built-in 3D combiner/processor functionality; a feature available in separate boxes from other manufacturers for thousands of dollars.
Instantaneous playback in 3D via the low-cost Convergent Design nano3D will greatly enhance 3D productions.

The Gemini 4:4:4 is an uncompressed recorder/player which records to solid-state drives (SSDs), with simultaneous recording to two separate SSD's for extra safety, if desired. The Gemini 4:4:4 incorporates a sunlight viewable, very high-brightness, colour accurate LCD monitor. The display features a 5" diagonal and a resolution of 800 x 480 (pixels) which is more than adequate for close-up viewing.

Convergent Design announced the newest member of their recorder series: Gemini RAW. This fifth generation design supports 4K RAW recording with live-preview and playback to a 4K monitor. Gemini RAW includes many industry leading, one-of-a-kind features, such as four camera recording / quad-split playback (in HD), AVID DNxHD™ CODEC (RGB and YCC), uncompressed RGB 444, stereo 3D, simultaneous recording of RAW/Dailies, and 120fps support (in 2K/HD).
Gemini RAW is a solutions-based recorder for digital cinema and multi-camera productions. It offers all the features of its' award-winning 4:4:4 counterpart, with significantly greater processing power, while retaining the same size, power, and weight. A key feature of Gemini RAW is the six programmable 3G-SDI ports which can be configured as 4-In/2-Out or 2-In/4-Out.
